Why I’m Running

I’m running for OUSD Board of Education to bring an educator’s perspective and practical, collaborative leadership that values the voices and experiences of Oceanside’s many communities. My background spans public school teaching, graduate-level teacher education, AI learning technology, and business leadership.

Support Every Student

Every student deserves the support to thrive and pursue the future they choose. I support comprehensive bilingual and special education, mental health services, and personalized academic planning.

Prepare Students for the Future

Rigorous literacy and mathematics instruction prepares students for college, careers, and informed citizenship in a changing climate. I support responsible AI integration that helps teachers and schools improve learning outcomes.

Keep Schools Safe

Students learn best when they feel safe, supported, and respected for who they are. I support thoughtful safety planning, secure facilities, and welcoming schools free from bullying and discrimination.

Protect Trust and Resources

Taxpayer dollars should be managed transparently and responsibly, with student learning at the center. I support long-term financial stability and energy-efficient facilities that reduce costs and protect our environment.
